Sir Paul McCartney's former wife Heather Mills has told Mandrake that Bea inspired children in the audience at a stage show to follow her in a series of dance moves.

"We were going to the Brighton run of Mamma Mia! and I told Bea that everyone would be dressed up in Seventies gear, so I put on a dark wig and went as Frida, and Bea was Agnes: we did the whole nine yards," said Mills, who overcame the loss of a leg to compete in the television show Dancing On Ice.

"But we got there and we were the only ones [dressed up]. I was mortified. Bea was like the Pied Piper. She got up and had all the little girls from the audience doing dance moves and singing along to songs in the aisles."

Mills, whose divorce from Sir Paul was so acrimonious that she threw a glass of water over Fiona Shackleton, his lawyer, in court, has no taste for The Beatles. "I'd much rather listen to Wagner or Shostakovich," she said at the opening of the Abba World experience at Earls Court.

"I love classical. When I was a girl my dad would always take us to listen to classical concerts."
She added, with typical modesty: "I've actually done a lot of work on promoting classical music behind the scenes. It's something I might bring to TV next year and aim it at children, to encourage kids to be turned
