Paul McCartney says Beatles weren't that good
The singer added that he understood the reason why record label Decca declined to sign the band in 1962."We obviously weren't that good. We were formulating it all," the Sun quoted him as saying in an interview with Xfm's Ian Camfield. He added: "You wouldn't have thought we were that great. You'd have turned us down if you were a record company. And they did - Decca turned us down!"However, the Fab Four later signed with EMI's Parlophone label, with the assistance of producer George Martin. The band then headed to play a 48-night residency in a Hamburg, Germany, club. McCartney said: "When we first went to Hamburg, and there'd be no one in the club."You'd see a couple of students, maybe a guy and his girlfriend, and they'd look in a bit tentatively, look up at the price of the beer, see it was too much and start walking out."So we'd go, 'Come on, everybody, get back in here! It's all happening!'"So we'd learned to attract an audience. After a few weeks, we'd be actually packing those clubs."It taught us that game of how to win over an audience."We learned loads of songs, so by the time we got back to England, we had quite a big repertoire."

Paul McCartney Announced European Tour
Did you be familiar with the British press label Paul McCartney "Macca?" Well, now you do. But that's not the headline. What's making headlines today is that the former Beatle has declared his first European tour in more than 5 years. Anticipation over the rocker's decleration landed McCartney, 67, at the top of today's Google Trends report. On his website, McCartney wrote, "Kicks off in Hamburg, ending in London and rocking everywhere in between. I'm very much looking forward to ending the year on high."
The 'Good Evening Europe Tour' will hit 7 cities in the month of December,

Sir Paul McCartney is to play a one-off Christmas show in London.
The former Beatle will end a seven-date European tour, his first in five years, with a concert at The O2 arena on December 22.
The performance will be 46 years to the day since The Beatles played their first Christmas show at Liverpool's Empire Theatre and it will be McCartney's first arena show in London for over six years.
The 'Good Evening Europe' tour will kick off in Hamburg, Germany, the city where The Beatles played extensively before being signed.
He said: "This is my chance to bring our current show home to where it all began. Starting in Hamburg, ending in London and rocking everywhere in between. I'm very much looking forward to ending the year on a high."
McCartney, 67, has only played a handful of UK shows since his last tour in 2003, including a headline slot at the Glastonbury musical festival in 2004 and a performance at the European Capital of Culture show in Liverpool last year.
Other cities McCartney will be stopping at include Paris, Berlin, and Dublin.

Paul McCartney's Business
MPL Communications is an umbrella company for McCartney's business interests, which owns a wide variety of copyrights, as well as the publishing rights to musicals. In 2006, the Trademarks Registry reported that MPL had started a process to secure the protections associated with registering the name "Paul McCartney" as a trademark. The 2005 films, Brokeback Mountain and Good Night and Good Luck, feature MPL copyrights.
In April 2009, it was exposed that McCartney, in common with other well-off musicians, had seen a important decline in his net worth over the preceding year. It was sketchy that his fortune had droped by some £60m, from £238m to £175m. The losses were credited to the ongoing worldwide recession, and the resulting refuse in value of property and stock market possessions.

Paul Mccartney Critique, recognition and achievements
The minor planet 4148, discovered in 1983, was named 'McCartney' in his honour.
In the run up his concert in St Petersburg in 2004, McCartney hired 3 jets, at a reported cost of £28,000, to spray dry ice in the clouds above St Petersburg Palace Square in an attempt to prevent rain.
On 18 June 2006, McCartney celebrated his 64th birthday, the human milestone that was the subject of one of the first songs he ever wrote, at the age of sixteen, the Beatles song "When I'm Sixty-Four." Paul Vallely noted in The Independent:
“ "Paul McCartney’s 64th birthday is not just a personal event. It is a cultural milestone for a generation. Such is the nature of celebrity; McCartney is one of those people who has represented the hopes and aspirations of those born in the baby-boom era, which had its awakening in the Sixties."
